THE BUSINESS

Your business involves two aspects:

1) In most cities, the majority of doctors do not take work or auto injuries. You will call on these offices, building relationships with the staff. Staff members and doctors then give out your number to patients who call looking for a doctor who takes work and auto injuries.

2) Family practice doctors typically have referral persons who coordinate referrals, using a Rolodex or filing system that often includes literally thousands of different specialists. Many would love to have a central referral person who personally coordinates their referrals. You can easily provide this quality service and build your business as you do so.

Your business is comprised of various kinds of doctors - various specialists and different doctors who take work and auto injuries. These doctors pay a flat fee to you as a marketing consultant (doctors do not pay for patients and you do not work by commission), and you refer patients to them according to geographical location and the type of doctor they’re looking for.

You keep a mobile phone with you Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5 (or whatever hours work for you). When a doctor gives out your number, you answer the phone, assist the patient, and refer them to the appropriate doctor to assist them.

You need absolutely no experience in the medical or healthcare field. You do need to care about people, feel comfortable with them, and possess the ability to learn a new trade.
